Musicians for Climate
What we do
Musicians for Climate (MFC) is an initiative to focus attention on environmentalist music, and its makers.
The idea came about when we realized the lack of a strong environmentalist message in today’s mainstream music. Those who do speak out are not receiving the attention they deserve.
We believe that environmentally engaged music is crucial for building climate awareness. Music can inspire, inform, motivate, and reach people on an emotional level, beyond numbers and graphs.
That's why we bring green music to the forefront. In addition, we inspire musicians to speak out on the most important issue of our time.

“Until a movement is marked by the joyous, defiant singing of revolutionary songs, it is the dogma of a few, and not the faith of the multitude.”
— James Connolly, 1907
